We had a great experience on the walking food tour. Our guide Jess was enthusiastic and proud of her home city of Chicago. Each place we visited had an interesting story. I thought it was great that many of the store/restaurant owners were dedicated to serving their customers with the best local ingrediants possible. Jess was very knowledgeable and made... More

Very interesting walking tour with different and enjoyable foods, great history, neighborhood and architecture talks. Not at all strenuous, plenty of time to see, ask questions and enjoy. Very pleasant staff is knowledgeable and well informed. One of the highlights of our Chicago visit. We did the "Near North Food Tasting & Cultural Walking Tour" for 3 hours and it... More

This was so worth it!!! Without this tour i would have never eaten a real Chicago style dog and boy would I of missed out!!! Our guide, Carrie, was very friendly and she did a wonderful job of intertwining the amazing history of the area and architecture into the tour. Every stop had a new amazing thing to eat ;)... More

My brother, who lives in Georgia, came to visit me in Chicago for his 21st birthday. I wanted to do more than the normal Mag Mile/Deep Dish touristy activities. When I saw the Chicago Food Planet walking food tour of Wicker Park/Bucktown, I believed I'd found what I was looking for. I was absolutely thrilled with the outcome. Not only... More

I highly recommend this tour! Great way to see 2 neighborhoods, sample authentic Chicago eats and get a real feel for the city. Our tour guide Martha was terrific! First stop is a Jewish deli where we each got half a Reuben sandwich. Second stop was a slice of deep dish Chicago style pizza at Lou Malnati's. Delish!! We were... More

We took the Near North Food Tour and it was a perfect introduction to the neighbourhoods we walked through as visitors to the city- a great mix of anecdotes and city history. The food was really tasty as well, balanced between savoury dishes, beverages, and sweet snacks. The Near North tour is a great way to discover neighbourhoods in the... More

My wife and I bought these tour tickets to celebrate Christmas with our kids. What a great way to spend time together, have some fun, eat some food, and learn some history and architecture. My original expectation was to sample food items from various choice restaurants. However, what I actually experienced was far greater! The selection of restaurants/shops had variety... More

Gina did a great job getting our group around the neighborhood on a very busy Saturday in the city. The food choices were varied and plentiful with my favorites being the chocolate drink from Hot Chocolate, roasted veggie salad from Goddess and the Grocer, and the ice cream from iCream. Seeing all the fascinating architecture was fun, too.
