The Willis Tower has 2 main advantages: it's very high and it has breathtaking sky-decks. Since I was here for a few days I wanted to check one of the main attractions in Chicago. It's a bit higher than the Empire State Building but not as spectacular. Since it's a relatively new building (70s) the architecture is not that impressive.... More

Amazing views of Chicago from every direction. The Ledge is amazing but a little intimidating. We bought the professional photos as they really were excellent. Worth the price of admission.

The Willis Tower is a must do! Before going up to the top of the tower, there is a video that tells you about the tower's history. I believe there are 110 floors. Make sure you pop your ears on the way up! At the very top, you can take several pictures and even walk off the side of the... More

I look at the other reviews and shake my head thinking what I missed on my visit. The place was crowded, the ticket windows were unorganized, and there wasn't much going on at the top other than the view (which is wonderful of course.) Despite having 'reservations', my group still had to wait half an hour in line to get... More

As one might have figured out from reading my recent reviews, I was trying to hit as many first-timer "must-dos" in my brief visit to Chicago. The Sears (oh, really, WILLIS?) Tower was one of those attractions. The Tower's stats, as stats go, are no doubt impressive but I usually forget facts like that in five seconds. I'll admit I... More

The Skydeck was wonderful...crowded with people that don't like to give everyone a chance, but once you get there - WOW!! It was a beautiful day and the view spectacular! I don't understand why they did not put these decks around to other sides of the building to show different views, but then I figured it might have something to... More

I was lucky that I visited on a week day in the off season. There were few people on the 103rd floor observation deck so I could take my time enjoying the views. The windows were a bit grimy in places which made it difficult to take photos of Chicago and Lake Michigan. There was a massive souvenir shop on... More
