Great place to see a concert! Walking distance from the Hard Rock Hotel and many restaurants
Chicago Landmark, lushly renovated, comfortable seats, good acoustics, with a grand French baroque interior. If you are sitting on the main floor, do take the effort to walk up to the balcony to view the fantastic expanse of the grand domed interior. We enjoyed Bonnie Rait and the Beach Boys on two separate evenings there last week.
We attended the Beach Boys 50th Anniversary Concert in May 2012. It looked like a sold out performance. The sound system was impeccable. The lights were amazing. I've seen many shows here over the years. Recently saw Chickenfoot. The acoustics are fantastic and there is not a bad seat in the house. Drink lines tend to be a bit long at times
Historic theater. Small but intimate with great acoustics!
I went to a Creed concert this month in the Chicago Theatre. It is absolutely breathtaking. The architecture is phenomenal and it really takes you back in time. The acoustics were surprisingly great. The seats are comfortable, and the staff was cordial.
I have grown up in Chicago and have seen the theater thousands of times.
Never had the chance to go inside until last week for the Rodrigo y Gabriela concert.
I am so glad that we went early.
We walked around this beautiful buiding and felt like we were in a time machine.

used to work across the street from the theatre and loved looking at the marquee to see what show I would go to next. the inside is even more beautiful!
I have seen many great shows here. You do have to pay like 20 bucks to park. ABC 7 is across the street, so you can watch the news for fun and the weatherman may come out.
