We didn't get anything out of this place. It was boring. Unless you like this sort of thing you wont miss anything. We only went because it was on our summer value pass deal. If it wasnt for that we would not have went here at all. This was the most boring thing we did while in Chicago. more

Overpriced at nearly $20 for a show and a stroll around the antiquated displays. It's a really neat place and what is more fascinating then the stars? I wasn't too impressed with the Adler Planetarium. There were a handful of interesting exhibits, but nothing that kept me wanting to turn every corner and look at every nook and cranny. The real Gemini space capsule is one that really stands out in my mind that I enjoyed. It may have helped if I wasn't rushed to go through.... more

Exhibits were sparse and geared toward a younger crowd. However, the 2 shows in the infiniti theatre were great. Nice relaxing chairs and interesting topics. more

I love the structure of the Planetarium. It gave an ancient feel to it with the rusted copper look. It's located along Lake Michigan and provided a beautiful view of the city and the lake. The exhibits are disappointing though. They are nothing more than photos, pictures, texts hanging on the walls. There are some hands-on exhibits but very minimal.... more
