Liked it all. Beautifully laid out to maintain ones interest at all times

Not a real fan of contemporary art, this one I really liked! The 80s where such a ambivalent decade, still 70ish but scares due to AIDS and economics. As a 40yr old I find it very interesting, would recommend visiting.

This was a waste of time and money. I hope that they take the $12 admission price and figure out how to brainstorm and get a good exhibit. I was so much better off investing $18 and going to the modern wing at the Art Institute. I will never do this again.

Make this wild and out there museum a stop off your stroll down historic Michigan Ave. The museum is right next to the Chicago Water Tower as well so you can't miss it! Everytime I go it is a different and new experience. It is free on Tuesdays and they have a great farmers during the summer months.

...the rest was, sadly, only average. You may be conned into thinking Tuesdays are free (by guide books)...this is only true if you're a resident, in which case you're unlikely to be reading this! You will pay for one floor of challenging and interesting material and that's it.

Not as well-known as the Art Institute, but a very thought-provoking collection. Start on the top floor and work down!

Was charged full price for a museum where 2 out of the 3 floors were closed off... whomever the curator is should be fired and replaced... there is no excuse to have so much space either empty or exhibitions being changed at the same time that it really screws the experience of those wanting to see more than an exhibit... The museum has some very interesting pieces but the collection was pretty limited. I visited the museum during one of the First Friday events so the crowd made my experience a little unique but I do not plan to put this on my "to do" list for next time.
