Kingston Mines was a place that was recommended to us before we left home and we were not disappointed. We weren't thrilled about the $12 cover charge, but after a fabulous evening we realized it was well worth it. Both bands were awesome! Check it out for yourself.

Very casual atmosphere. Get there early if you want a seat. There are two rooms, with two bands - once the music starts, it doesn't stop! Food was a bit slow, but there was only one guy in the kitchen. My sandwich was ok, and the ribs smelled good. Cocktail waitress was very efficient for such a congested place!

Ater paying a reasonable $15 pp cover we entered a venue with 2 stages in different rooms with acts alternating between the stages. Pretty shabby place, sparse crowd on a Tuesday night. This place ended up being our favourite Blues Bar in Chicago. We ended up here both nights after many bars, until 5am. Fantastic.
