The tall buildings CLEAN, kudos to the mayor clean, no street people, city buzzing for NATO! The stores the smells, sights, WHAT a street to look at the new with the old buildings glamour!

The Magnificent Mile (Michigan Ave) is a wonderful walk but I found that the designer stores were out of my price bracket. If you normally shop the designer stores or are looking for something at Nieman Marcus, Prada, Channel, Nordstroms etc this is definately the place to be

Great shopping, street-life but mind the traffic! Dining is somewhat limited but thats not the purpose to go to Michigan Ave in the first place. Not kid-friendly...strollers/toddlers too much in view of people/traffic volume, so leave the kids at home. There is nothing to not like in this street which is bubbling with life, excitement and glamour. Love to visit whenever I am in town

Not only is the shopping at its best on Mich Ave, but the landscape is beautiful, as well. The seasons are celebrated with lovely horticultural displays up and down the Mag Mile. Michange Avenue is the major street. It is the Avenue were all the expensive shops are located, but nice eating place. Bring money to shop and eat. definitely have to go back to Chicago and bring alot of money to really enjoy Chicago.

Michigan Avenue is lots of fun but you can find the same shops and better ones on Rush street or in Lincoln Park
