Its actually a city within the city. It reminds me of a college town, maybe its because the Univ of Chicago is there.

Used to be nice to drive around and look at some great old buildings. Hard to do now since the president has a home there.

Historic area that is near a university. You can take a walking tour and view the campus and neighborhood with Frank Lloyd Wright homes.

In a nutshell, Hyde Park is a vibrant, multicultural community full of museums, affordable restaurants, historic homes, and great parks, including a beautiful (albeit small) beach. “Rode through while on Trolley Tour”

This is also the old neighborhood of President Obama. We rode pass his home which wasnt visible due to trees. We seen a former house of Muhammand Ali's.
