“sunday matinee good for kids, but expensive venue”

this is a pretty nice venue. we were drawn to the sunday matinee because children get in free, (and they don't scowl when you bring in your 16 month old, they're actually very welcoming towards children at the matinee). the jazz was ok, not amazing. kind of felt like i was watching rehearsal, but when you're traveling with a toddler... more

Feels a little bit empty inside, almost like a small gym as you pass away from the bar and into the seperate seating area. Don't get me wrong, it's not big, so there is some intimacy. Things were pretty relaxed the night I visited three years back. more
