Very nice for the kids to visit. Part of the conservatory was under construction due to hail storm damage.Accessable by car with parking lot or el train.

Whenever I have friends in town, I always take them to GPC. Not only is it a beautiful break from the hustle and bustle of Chicago, it's a sanctuary in the winter chill and a picnic heaven in warmer seasons.

Visited this conservatory and it was an extremely pleasant place to visit. The facilities were well maintained. The exhibits were interesting. My favorite room was the fern room (very relaxing).

Garfield Park has unusual plants and is very large. I love the little creeks and water running through and the beautiful colors.

An Oasis of green for those tired of Chicago winters

Love this place - unique and amazing and especially during the winter, it is like entering another magical world - always a great place to visit for all ages!

We went to the conservatory for a wedding, so I cannot comment on the value, but the setting was lovely. The entire conservatory was very pretty and we enjoyed our time there.
