Visting a cemetary may sound creepy but this one is a wonderful park setting and tribute to the who's who of Chicago - Sullivan, Pullman, Burnham etc. Great guide map can be obtained at the visitor center.

Fascinating study in Chicago History and cemetary architecture

Walking through this cemetary on a tour is scary when you realize the history behind some of these graves. It could have been my imagination, but it felt like eyes were watching you. Creep City!

Only go to see something/someone specific. It's just north of Wrigleyville, so maybe consider going when you are going to Wrigley Field/Wrigley bars.

If you like cemeteries, Chicago, and history...this is the place. A "Who's Who" of early Chicago. Some of the magnificent monuments in the city. Don't miss Burnham's small island. I could have spent more than a few days roaming around here.
