Went to a Saturday Matinee of Invisible Man, and we were blown away by the power of the performance. My partner was extremely impessed with how easily the performers were able to move from one role to another, and how natural it seemed. The venue itself did not have a bad seat, we were concerned about sitting in the back...

I can't recommend this theater enough. I saw The Invisible Man there a few weeks ago. What a production! Everything was great - the scenic design, the lighting, the choreography, the acting, everything. They offer discounts for students and children, so feel free to inquire.
We have been going to The Court Theater near the University of Chicago in Hyde Park off and on for years. It's a little out of the way to get to; but the stage surrounded by semi-circular seating draws the audinece in to the production so much so that one feels a part of the story. went to Porgy and Bess last season and it was great, went to preview of opening show Spunk and again another great show from court theatre, every seat in house is good view and accoustic's are great also a place to see great theatre
