The Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio served as Wright's private residence and workplace from 1889 to 1909--the first 20 years of his career. Here Wright developed a new American architecture: the Prairie style. Filled with original furnishings, the Home and Studio demonstrates Wright's passion for controlling all aspects of his structures, including interior design and decorative arts. Enjoy guided tours of the museum complex and neighboring historic district seven days a week. Tour details are available on the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust website.

We took a walking tour of incredible FL Wright homes around the corner from the Home and Studio of FL Wright. The docents were knowledgable and the tours were informative.

Our visit to the Frank Lloyd Wright home & studio was informative and full of little surprises. We enjoyed our docent's acerbic comments on the personality of the illustrious Wright and his sometimes eccentric solutions to problems of space and design. Well worth a visit, and more of his homes are nearby.

We did the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio as well as the neighborhood walking tour.
On the walking tour we were given an MP3 player that was easy to use. We were able to see 20 homes from the outside including many styles of FLW as well as other architects of that time period.

We did the combo self-guided walking tour and the guided tour of the home and studio. It was great to walk around Oak Park and see all of the beautiful homes in the area. I'm a huge FLW fan, so I really enjoyed myself. They have done a fantastic job restoring the home and studio, so if you're a FLW...
