We were eager to visit the Unity Temple, as being one of the most important works of FLW. Athough we were told that there was no admission and that we could just donate some money voluntarely, the lady at the entrance "forced" us to pay $20 for a 15min visit (this is how long you will spend there) I find... They often have neat events, with no pressure to participate. Surprising that it can fit that many people on the inside. Will look forward to when they can get a/c (and all the codes hassles that entails) into this historic building. Was surprised that Wright but big bulb lights so near the same level of the speaker's head. It can... More

As a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright, I was interested in seeing the building. But, being asked to pay to wander around a church was odd. It is a beautiful structure, but does not offer enough to excuse an admission charge.

A self guided tour, not incredibly inspiring I must say- and I'm a huge FLW fan. But if you're in Oak Park for the rest of Wright, it's worth a 15 minute look around.

One of the architectural treasures of the World. FLW is still contemporary more than 100 years later.

This building is one of the most recognize works of Wright. Is not a big building but you can enjoy appreciating the artist style. It also host one f the most interesting religious groups around. Very progressive and aware of what happen around the world.

this was a self-guided tour and the first Wright space I've seen where I was allowed to take pictures. The space was memorable for its details.

So, were I not a FLW fan, I'd have rated this much lower, and, quite frankly, I can't fathom what kind of crazy kool aide other reviewers were drinking to rate it so highly. It's worth one, less than one hour visit. Fortunately we had a 1/2 off Groupon, as I'd have been pissed to have paid $10 per person... More

Unity Temple is an unusual building, inside and out, and really lovely! Definitely worth the trip to Oak Park. Just don't mix it up with the post office across the street! Seriously, the building is hard to describe, but definitely beautiful, imaginative, and inspiring. You should plan to see this great place that is available by the Green Line trains.
