An excellent "Living History" museum with events throughout the year. Rockford was the home of Nelson Knitting, producers of the socks used to make the world famous Monkey Socks. Each year the museum has a Sock Monkey Madness Festival with displays, workshops, and this year there will even be a Miss Sockford Beauty Pagent. In late September there's a WWII... more
