Buskirk-Chumley is located in an historic movie theater, saved by a community effort to preserve the history of downtown Bloomington. A person who loves theater can find just about any kind of production at the Buskirk-Chumley. Community orchestra, children's plays, dance programs, dramas, musicals, etc. etc. Prices are extremely reasonable, the quality of programming is excellent. I love this theater!

Our last experience here was to see "Annie" by the Cardinal Stage Company. I have never been disappointed by anything presented by Cardinal. The children stole the show: well coached and wonderful voices. Have seen Joan Baez here, Carrie Newcomer, great speakers, and fine music. A real gem of Bloomington.

It was my devirginizing show, and it was great. The audience and hosts were excellent.

BCT is a great place to see a show! Whether it is a local production or a nationally touring musical act or comic, it is just right. Clean, well run, and intimate feel for the audience.

Small venue. All seats are good. Ticket and parking price a real value.
