This is a two-hour guided tour on a most comfortable bus. Our guide, Dody, was enthusiastic and informative, and a great promoter of Columbus! We enjoyed this very much. Tip: buy tickets online ahead of time and be sure to arrive 30 minutes before your tour time!

This tour is a must for anyone who has an in interest in architecture, or is just curious about the art form. Columbus has an unprecedented collection of extraordinary buildings designed by some of the greatest architects of the past 50 years. This, in town of less than 40,000 inhabitants. The force behind this remarkable showplace is Cummins Engine Company,... More

Columbus is a great place to go to see smaller scale architecture by many famous modernist architects. While much of it is within walking distance of central Columbus, definitely make time to see North Christian Church by Eero Saarinen..it's well worth the 5 minute drive from downtown. The lady at the Visitor Center was friendly and helpful. There is a... More

We were too late for the tour, but decided to look around Columbus on our own. I repeat... we did not take the guided tour, but we did visit the visitor's center, where you can watch a short video in the theater for free. At the front desk, ask for a map of attractions up and down Fifth Street (free... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hour bus tour of the architectual sites of Columbus, IN. It gave us great insight into the town. We were amazed that so many wonderful buildings were just an hour away from Indianapolis. There is great leadership and vision in the town of Columbus.

City is amazing. The sheer concentration of architectural landmarks in a 50.000 inhabitant city is overwhelming. Buildings designed by IM Pei (of the Louvre Piramid), Eeero Saarinen (St Louis Arch), Richard Meier (Getty Center in LA), Harry Wiese and many others. A True "modernist mecca" as their website proclaims. It is amazing to see how many tourists from all over... More
