Old casino, on a barge. Needs to be updated, or replaced. I lost, wife broke even on slots. Poor location miles away from any major highways. Hotel attached to it is good, but a long (indoor) walk from the casino.

We like to visit Horseshoe, Indiana a few times a year. The hotel is very nice with clean and spacious rooms and great amenities. The rooms are kept updated and the bathrooms are huge. They added flat screen tv's to all of the rooms a few years ago. The casino is large with plenty to do, and it's really luck...

The casino is smaller than the ones I usually go to in SW corner of Indiana, but was still nice.
Bright, cheerful place. Smoke really is bad at times. The no smoke deck is still in the same air system so not much better. The games here seem to be as winnable as anywhere. What blows my mind is their drink prices. Whew.
I enjoy the animated slots & since I'm a smoker, it's nice to have a floor that welcomes me.
The name has been changed to Horseshoe Casino Southern Indiana. The poker room has thirty tables with tournaments and cash games. comps are good compared to other venues in Southern Indiana but not like larger markets.
Wide variety of slots in all denominations. Excellent drink service. Friendly, efficient staff. What's not to like?
They claim to have the loosest slots...........NOT.......also, casino is very, very smokey; not a very good ventilation system. Although there is a non-smoking floor, not many machines. We used to go there all the time........had been about 2 years since we were there. Will NOT go back.
My husband and I made the trip, which is about 1 hour and 15 minutes, to Ceaser's for the second time in April. We both lost the first time with no hits on any slots at all. Thinking maybe it was just our bad luck we had a coupon for a $29 room so we decided to go back. The...

I drove from Indianapolis (about 2 hours to the south). I had the buffet, which was less impressive than a Golden Corral. Food was bland, choices were uninteresting.
The 3 small floors of the casino that had gaming going on were very smoky and there weren't a couple of the options I was looking for: Video Poker for $0.05 or...
