Grew up visiting this museum a few times a year as a kid and still love to take my nieces and nephews here as an adult. Always fun!

I went awhile ago with my sister and 2 nieces. At that time it was already a big place, clean, large carosuel, lots of activites for the kids to get into. I had as much fun as the kids did. They were adding new things already. I have been to 2 other childrens museum and neither one has made such... More

I have visited the Children's museum numerous times and it never fails to amaze me. My most recent visit was to take my relatives from Germany to see something very special. They were totally amazed and impressed. There is so much I like about the museum. The exhibits are always changing so it is fresh and new every visit. The... More

This museum if you have children and even if you don't. They have a lot of interactive stations and always one rotating display. When we were there they had a large Barbie display. How fun is that for girls of all ages?

My son could not wait to go back for a second visit. There was so much we missed on our first trip and it’s great that they always have rotating exhibits. Oh how I wish we were closer so we could go all the time. We were sad we missed the Hot wheels exhibit by a couple of weeks. The... More

when we went, there were loads of kids due to field trips. If you want to avoid that, try going during summer. This was an awesome visit. Plenty of free parking in garage on Ill. street, plenty of bathrooms. Food/museum store items were pricey but no surprise there. Staff was very helpful, polite. Really seem to be "into" their jobs.... More

Wow. This place rocked! Free parking. Reasonable admission. More to do than you'll ever expect. The Dinosphere alone was worth the price of admission and then we got another 4 floors worth of stuff to see! Lots of hands on activities. My son was 8. He was in heaven. My wife and I had a great time too. I can't... More
