Bickelhaupt is a beautiful free arboretum, especially considering Clinton's size. Bickelhaupt features fourteen acres of well tended lawns, trees and gardens with a creek running through. We spent most of our time among the conifers and found the grounds well laid out and most trees, shrubs, and plants nicely identified.

We visited the Arboretum on a quiet weekday afternoon in late September and were impressed. The marked trails guided us through a spectacular fall foliage display. We cannot wait to visit again this spring and catch the Magnolias in bloom.
