Interesting but not worth going for just a stop. If you go take a group so you can play ball on the field.

The field and the house look pretty much like they did in the movie -- only change is the signage getting you there, a small "gift shop" which is more like a concession stand, and portable toilets. The land is still described as owned by the original family, but apparently in 2011 it was sold to other interests who have... More

We took a drive out to see the baseball field set from the the Field of Dreams movie. Its not far from the town of Dyersville. You head north east out of town and there are signs to guide you. I really liked the movie and some people that I used to work with were in it. It is a... More

You can't help but feel that you have stepped into the movie. The excitement of the attraction is all in your imagination. The setting is so peaceful and simple. We would all wish for that life style.

My husband and I visited the Field of Dreams, it was fun. We do really love the movie Field of Dreams though, so we were excited to just see the whole thing. They do have special events there, which might be fun, we were there just on a normal evening and it was fun!

Not really my thing. I liked the movie, but there's plenty of cornfields and plenty of baseball diamonds around. Oh, and there's the gift shop....

I grew up watching this movie (still one of my favorites), and my fiance and I included a stop here in a cross country road trip this past summer. So glad we did! A really neat thing to see!

It's a ball field in the middle of no where. It's kitschy Iowa fun.

The field never changes, it looks just as it did in the movie, the house, the cornfield, the surrounding area. If you have kids you can play catch on the field, if you forgot yours they have gloves available. The diamond is taken care of on a daily basis to keep it looking great, just like in the movie! I have seen... More
