This is a great place to learn about farm toys, farming, collecting and just plain fun to look at. The farm dioramas are a great way to bring back memories or introduce children to yesteryear. Dyersville, Iowa is the perfect setting for this museum.

I was not certain what to expect here, but what you get are tons of toy tractors most looking about the same. This is really a very specialized place. Also some very interesting diorama type model replicas of manufacturing plants for the toys and some similar types of temporal exhibits. Worth the 5.00 admission, unless you have no interest in... My boys loved this museum as well as I did. The only disappointment I have is the toys are no longer made there but are made in Mexico :( Won't be buying the toys any longer.

If you happen to be in northeastern Iowa, the National Farm Toy Museum is worth a stop. You will probably enjoy it most if you have a farm background, but even if you don't, you'll be impressed by the multitude of miniature tractors and other farm machinery and the beautiful way in which they are displayed. It's not the Smithsonian,... More

I enjoy this museum since I enjoy toy farm equipment. I'm not an avid collector but I do have a small collection myself, and my wife enjoys it as well. Our 2 sons, 4 and 6, enjoy *playing* with toy farm equipment even though we're from the "big city" now (and they always have been), but the displays weren't all... More
