This is something to do and it's worth the price of admission, but it is really just a museum...don't expect much in way of authentic buildings, etc. There are a few original structures (one house, one school, and a little jail) that have been relocated to the grounds, but the majority of the complex is a modern structure built to... more

We had a nice visit. The video giving the historical information was good. The funfight was well done and entertaining. The museums were informative and interesting. The cemetery was disappointing but the rest of it was nice. It doesn't take too long to go through; we were there about 2 hrs. more

We were in Dodge City for World of Outlaws racing. But wanted to take a 12 year old to the gun fight. Overall, this is well worth the 8 bucks to get in. The gift shop is nice. The saloon has sasparela, water and beer. There is a little cafe place to get sandwiches for not too much. The school house... more

We went to the Boot Hill Museum on August 10, 2007 and had a very interesting and fun adventure. We enjoyed the Plains Indian Building and especially the buffalo stampede display. The screens above give the description and the boards that you stand on, shake and rattle and you feel just like you have been through one! We enjoyed seeing... more

We went to Dodge City last summer, and had an incredible time. The first day, we attended a recreation of a gunfight and a variety show at the Long Branch Saloon, located at the Boot Hill Museum. The cast of the show was very talented, with both music and comedy. The next day, we went back to tour the entire... more

Even though Boot Hill does not offer it's famous Gun Fights, or shows in the off season, it was still a great time! Even my 3 yr old son had a wonderful time just looking at all the old Cowboy stuff! There is and enormous amount of original things to view: guns, clothes, and even bank books! So much to... more

This delightful atraction is well worth the drive me and my sister were passing through and stumbled apon a sign that was advertising the musem so we decided to stop in and have a peek. We stayed all day. There were two gunfights that day and a variety show as well that we attended. All of the employees and reenactors... more

I visited the Boot Hill Museum on 12/30/05. If you are into the 'wild west' and enjoy history from that time period, this place is for you! I spent three hours there and read every word of every board. The whole presentation is factual and not puffed up for the tourist crowd. As someone who has studied the wild west,... more

It's not really worth driving down there for. A long way off I-70...we had heard about Boot Hill for years, our families had stopped there in the '60's and '70's on cross country trips and always talked about what a good time they had. It's very small, perhaps a 1/2 block, and you can see it in about an hour.... more

My Family and i Have been to Boot hill 2 times. The Museum and shop are really neat, but the best thing Boot hill has going for it is the Shows. The best being the CAN CAN show. My kids liked it so much they want to move there where they can work there. Set close and enjoy your trip. more
