The number and variety of restaurants along Mass St. is amazing! It is a fun place for not only students, but families of all ages. The opportunity for quality shopping is very good.l There are various scheduled activities that are worthy of attendance!

Great shopping - all kinds of different shops. Just about anything you can think of. Great restaurants - pizza to tacos to burgers to wings - fancy to pitas. Great people watching.What's not to love.

I love Mass street. From people watching to deciding what restaurant to eat at, to popping in and out of fun little shops. The weather was beautiful which made it a truly enjoyable day. Honk for Hemp!

You can't go wrong with any place on Mass St. I prefer The Mad Greek, Tellers and Ten@ the Eldridge. Ingredient has a very good selection of fresh salad makings. I had a Goober Burger at the Burger Stand in the Casbah in honor of Elvis' birthday. yummy. The shopping is pricey but ohhhhh sooooo much fun.

Lawrence downtown area on Mass Street is an eclectic blend of art shops, bakeries, restaurants. A treat for the kids and the young at heart is Penny Annies where there is an old-fashion candy counter where you can select candies from times past.

I gave it four stars instead of five because many of the businesses have been replaced by restaurants, some of the chains, and many of the stores are not open past 6 except on Thursday. The shops on Mass street are all really interesting and many really show what Lawrence is ALL about! There are great places to eat (Milton's is my personal favorite.) And tons of shopping! Doesn't matter if you need a hookah or a prom dress, Mass street's got it!
