World War II, Sen. Dole's political career and a tribute to Kansans who served in World War II are among the features of the Institute. Renowned speakers are invited periodically and archives are available for study.

The Dole Center is an impressive small tribute to Robert Dole and a history of his life in western Kansas, in WWII and in politics. The stained glass windows are beautiful. Research can be done here as well.

The presentation of his life and career make him out to be humourous and someone who cared about the public interest. He would not fit easily into today's Republican party

We have attended several events here. Including a graduation ceremony several years ago. Also there are interesting lectures by well know individuals.
