This place was very fun. We went for the Olathe Band concert and then they did old style fireworks. lots of animals and stage coach ride.

We attended an 1800s event this past fall and took a stagecoach ride. Nice restored location with original farm house and buildings. Worth a visit, take the kids!

We visited the historic site on several occasions. Each visit was informative and enjoyable for relatives of all ages. Presenters were very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot and enjoyed the experiences for people 5 to 70 years old.

The former homestead and stagecoach stop is home to a lot of events throughout the year, including reenactments. A stroll through the past is in order in Olathe.

We visited during the month of December. Most of the outside attractions were not open but we really enjoyed the holiday tea. My kids went on a fieldtrip here 1 12 years ago. I thought it was great! Panning for gold, seeing how they used to make food, riding a stage coach. Not sure if this is what they do when there is not a fieldtrip. My kids didn't love it as much as I did though.
