I went for the Christmas display. The house was fun (If a little sparse) with the alminum tree and vintage toys. Well worth the visit.

I found this completely by accident, but it's so cool. It's in the Johnson County museum, which is free and has a great kid's play area.
This is the first all-electric house in the Kansas City area. It was a model home for the time and its history is fascinating and that it was saved is great for those that want to take the tour. It is at the Johnson County Museum. There is a small charge and tours are on the hour.
The Johnson County Museum preserved perfect the historical past of the beginning of the county, the 1950's pretty cool to walk into the past.
