This museum had an impressive collection of dinosaurs, some were made of majority real fossils. Had lots of exhibit material on each of the Presidents of the USA. Also had a lot material on each war - Revolutionary, WWI, WWII, Vietnam, Korea, etc. Also had some Hollywood memorabilia. They had a little quiz for the children to fill out as... more

My husband and I took our children, ages 6 and 10. We have visited several museums from time to time. My 10 year old loves them and my 6 year old is interested about 75% of the time. I supervised a field trip with my 8th grade students and was in awe. The museum founder and curator was our personal tour guide. He was engaging, funny, very knowledgeable and made the excellent museum even better. The 8th graders all agreed that it was one of the best field trips they had ever been on. more

This is an amazing place that I was incredibly surprised to find in...Wichita, KS? You won't believe this place is out in the middle of the prairie folks. Wow, what a treasure! This museum is home to an incredibly eclectic collection, ranging from dinosaur bones, to royal Egyptian mummies, to a bowl used by Hitler and Abe Lincoln's cane. If you happen to be in the Wichita area, it's worth a few hours (or more) to stop in and see these rare and exciting artifacts. more
