“Most beautiful Capitol in the USA”

If you have not been to see this building, you have missed one of the most beautiful structures in the USA. The Capitol was built with block and tackle and mules. The rotunda is outstanding. Every Kentuckian MUST see it!

Nice to spend an hour or so looking at the grounds and building. Nothing much to do after that.

We have tour this place many times. There is a lot of history in this place. Schools take bus loads to visit and the children are speechless.

We took a tour of the Old Capitol on May 12. It was very interesting and the people working there were very friendly and helpful. The tour only cost $4 each and with that we got a sticker to use at the Kentucky History Museum. A good deal! We got to look at very old books in the library and... More
