Ive been here a few times while visiting my sister in Lexington. Its neat that this is the place that invented the famous bourbon ball. The remodeled recently and it looks nice. I've never taken the tour because it costs two bucks. Not sure why they charge the fee because im sure they would it up at the end when... More

We were with a group of young japanese students with an interpreter. Our guide rushed through the tour and didn't give time for interpretation! But the free samples at the end helped with that disappointment!

Went on the $2 tour ($4 total) and was very disappointed. They weren't making anything when we went on the tour, we should have been told before going on the tour since I wouldn't have wasted my money. The "factory" is an old house and looked clean, but I don't know how close they follow the GMP's! The candy is... More

Gotta do this - great candy! It's small, the only reason it didn't get a five is just that it's small. But a great place to visit!

The Buffalo Trace Bourbon Balls were our favorite. The tour was very cute, but it is very informal. However, for the price ($2) it was a fun experience.

A nice little walk from Kentucky's Capital. Surprised to learn the old fashion way the candy is still made. Tasty Bourbon Balls.'

I really love their chocolate! They say they invented the bourbon ball and I believe it. I have tried many other recipes and this is the BEST. Also a fan of their cream pull candy and dark chocolate almond bark.

The girl giving the tour knew almost nothing about the place, and we didn't find out until after we'd paid that they weren't even making candy that day. They suggested we try the tour at Buffalo Trace, which we did (and it's free over there), and we had a much better experience than at Rebecca Ruth's, I'm sorry to say.
