Everyone loves this venue with its three different theaters, their own parking (for $10), and a very good restaurant downstairs.

I love the traditional plays, but be careful of the New American Plays, they can be quite shocking
While not all of the plays were my cup of tea, I loved the energy of the weekend and the chance to mingle with hundreds of people who love theater. Actors Theater has great facilities and they certainly know how to organize a fantastic festival.
The actors in these performances are experienced, quality performers. The theater is small and gives an intimate feeling. Some of the pieces premier in Louisville before going on to a nationwide audience. Excellent entertainment at an affordable price.
I have seen many plays at ATL and I am always amazed at how efficient and helpful the staff is. Plus the plays are wonderful! The Humana Festival is a don't miss for me.

Actors Theatre of Louisville has some of the best plays! Louisville is blessed to have a fine arts program, and Actors is no exception. The plays are top-notch; the sets are amazing; the actors are the finest. Best of all... you can come dressed to the nines, or you can wear bluejeans... Louisville is very eclectic!
Catch a play at Actor's Theater - wonderful variety and quality professional actors and playwrites. Theatres are small and quaint (one is in the round). Last minute tickets available at rush prices often. If you are in around Halloween don't miss Dracula; around Christmas options are A Christmas Carol or A Christmas Story and both are great for all ages....
