Wasn't terribly impressed. It was actually kind of dead there despite it being a Saturday night. Wouldn't suggest it as a 'must see'.

We stayed a downtown hotel so that we could walk here. We went on a Saturday night and we were impressed with the atmosphere and the looks of the street. However, it was pretty boring for us 40 plusers. It's mainly a young, loud, drunk crowd. Some of the bars don't even open until 8pm. We saw at least 5...

A small concentration of bars and restaurants in downtown Louisville that is packed with tourists/visitors. The Pub seemed to be the best place to grab a pint. There was also an Irish pub on the other end that we didn't try. The Hard Rock Cafe is down here too. I think also a TGIFridays. It is very touristy which can...

Basically it's the most contemporary street lines with corporate stores, bars, and food spots in the city. Not a lot of culture or atmosphere but if youre from out of town and need a TGI Fridays it's a good choice...
Fourth street is mostly bars, expensive ones at that. There are a few restaurants but none have been worth the price and hassle of parking. The major drawback is it is located in downtown Louisville which is surrounded by housing projects. The crime rate is very high. The LMPD do a pretty good job of patrolling but they can't be...

Bars close in this place every other month it seems. No wonder with it's demographic and cookie cutter atmosphere. Avoid if you want a good local flavor of Louisville. Honorable mention goes to the Pub which is the only decent joint in the whole complex.
Fourth Street Live was great, it was our second time staying in town and visiting. The whole area is extreamly clean and safe. We noted a vast mix of people in the area of all ages. The bars do not close in till 4am!
They made a very nice entertainment venue out of an average city street. This attraction makes having a convention at the Galt House, or Hyatt a good choice, as your convention goers have a nice place to relax in the evening. I especially enjoyed the Irish Pub. New Years Eve is a must do.
Had a great night out here, the venues are very clean.
As a pedestrian mall concept, this works as expected. I'm sure on any other day of the week, this place is great. However, we were in Louisville on a Sunday, and we were hard-pressed to find any folks walking downtown. Scant businesses were open. We had hoped to eat at a local restaurant, but settled for RiRa Irish Pub -...
