Very impressive & beautifully maintained. Watch a couple of live horseraces which was exciting. Would love to come back when the Kentucky Derby runs one day. Definitely worth checking out.

See the video presentation first, tour the track second, and then enjoy both floors of the museum. Great experience.

We got there shortly after the gates open at 11:30. We parked for free on the street and paid $1 admissions because we are sixty. Because we were there early we found seating in the shade right across from the Finish Line. We even won a race.

We did a package of tours and it was a wonderful experience! While I had hoped the stable tours would have allowed us to get a closer view of the horses, I completely understood why it didn't - for safety of the horses. We still got an up-close view of the tracks and got to watch the horses warm up... More

We didn't know anything about horse racing. The staff and the other patrons were very helpful.

It was my first Derby and ai was in tears when the Music started brfore the "Run for the Roses". Being born and raised in Kentucky, it was breathtaking and heartfelt. I absolutely loved it. I was there early enough to watch the sunrise. Amazing!!!!

Churchill Downs is a great place to go for the races; lots of options for drinks, souveniers, and people watching. Prices are fair or seating, drinks are pretty outrageous- but hey, it's "The Downs"! Of course going for the Kentucky Derby is quite another story...seating is very expensive, drinks take 30 minutes at the minimum, and crowds are thick. Will... More
