Everything about this park seems to lend itself to relaxation and time away from the rush, rush of life. We highly recommend it when you are in the area near Williamsburg, Kentucky. It is off the main route south (Highway I-75), but the few miles off the main road is well worth the effort. We would suggest you try this... More

The lodge had very good homestyle buffet food and the view from the dining room is very nice. My husband and I hiked around the area and really enjoyed the afternoon there. We will definitely be going back, the fall colors were lovely.

We stayed at the Lodge, and took advantage of the convenient access to the trails in park that surrounded lodge. Recommend the Hemlock trail. And for nostalgic purposes, had to do the Chain Rock due to folklore that surrounds it.

This was a beautiful, relatively secluded state park. We stayed in the king room w/ a balcony which was perfect for a cool, fall night. No mtn view, but the falling leaves and squirrels were enough for us. Be sure to check out the views of the town and go for a hike!

We headed to Pine Mountain State Resort Park with hopes of spotting wildlife--in particular, elk. While we soon discovered the elk tours offered by the park take visitors to a separate area, we still enjoyed our drive. It was not crowded and it was very serene when we visited in November. If I lived in town, I'd frequent this park... More

Great place for golf and hiking. Food was included and the 2 bedroom 2 bath cottages were very clean and comfy. There were many hiking trails within walking distance. The golf course - Wasioto Winds - very challenging and picturesque. The wives loved it. The weekend fees for the golf and cottages are very reasonable. There are specials on the... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights at the Pine Mountain State Resort Park Lodge while visiting family in Eastern KY. The lodge is by far the nicest accommodation in the area. Our room was on the second level of the main lodge, and had a private balcony overlooking a pretty view. The room had a king-size bed, a... More

We wanted to visit Cumberland Gap, but also wanted to stay in a cabin in the woods that had a fireplace. We found Pine Mountain on the Internet and were quite pleased with everything.
