Not a real Bourbon drinker, I went here to see what a distillery would function like. What a pleasant surprise to given a guided tour, with the history of Kentucky Bourbon, a walkabout and finally a tasting. Questions were encouraged and the enthusiasm of the staff made you want to stay awhile. Highly recommend this stop plus the drive was... More

Having visited four distilleries, this one had its own charm and interest. It is difficult to compare tours on the Bourbon Tail. They are all unique and something special is brought out each time. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, had family in this business for years and was spot on for bringing the enjoyment of bourbon to the experience.... More

We have only been to one other distillery and it was the Jack Daniels tour, these two are not even on the same playing field. The setting and area is nice and you can definitely smell the Jim Beam when you drive up, but the tour was disappointing. The big difference in their favor compared to Jack Daniels is they... More

Loved this facility and distillery. I visited during Kentucky Derby weekend and so it was quite crowded. The facility allowed self-guided tours on this date due to the crowd, so I kinda missed an actual tour and history lesson of Jim Beam bourbon, but still, the tour was interesting and free and fun. I visited here on my tour of... More

The tour guides are fun and informative. The tour itself is very exciting and worth the 30 minute drive from downtown Louisville. Learn about the distillery process, the history of the distillery, and free tasting at the end!

We parked at the first lot we came to, and ended up walking quite a way to the visitor's center. Better signage would have helped. But the grounds were lovely once we found them and the distillery well maintained and scenic.

After two trips to Lynchburg, TN to visit Jack Daniels, we decided to go North and visit Jim Beam in the beautiful countryside of Kentucky. We traveled on motorcycles, a group of 10 bikes and 15 bikers. There is no charge to visit the distillery or for parking. During our visit there was alot of construction activity, as they are... My husband and I visited the Jim Beam Distillery at the beginning of our first half trip on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. We enjoyed Jim Beam, the entire area seems to be under construction. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and very friendly. We had an excellent time, learning about the bourbon industry, but did not get to really see... More
