The horseshoe is a nice place to stay. The beds were nice and soft, and had the best sleep ever. But the one thing i did'nt like was "no pool". If your looking to bring the kids i would recommend somewere else. But for couples and adults they would love it. more

We went here for our 32nd wedding anniversary. We got the "Gambler's Getaway" package. $85 for a luxury room and a buffet for 2. We have been to the Horseshoe 2 times this year--The rooms are so clean that I am glad to leave a tip for Housekeeping--The buffet is wonderful---Room Service is fast and very good---Playing just the slots at the Horseshoe--We all came home with more money than we took with us. Dear sirs: {Discrimination at payout cage. March 2006} We have always enjoyed visiting the Horseshoe hotel in Bossier City. We love to play craps and other games in the casino. But things are different now. In order to get change or to cash out we feel discriminated against in the different lines. It takes so long to get change now.... more
