Across the Red River from downtown Shreveport, the project's first phase opened in November, 2003, with the state's first Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. The remainder of Boardwalk opened in May 2005 and joined a vibrant casino district nestled along the majestic riverfront for nearly a half-mile. A nice outdoor mall with 1-2 good stores and restaurants, but the majority of the places are not worthwhile. Many establishments are just filler because maangement couldnt attract the big names.

not every city has a Mall on a River. it's a fun clean place to go. This place is always clean everytime i go here. Nice Movie theater. Only down side is the selection of stores is lacking. No Hot topic, American Eagle, Game Stop, etc...

My wife and I take our granddaughter there for an afternoon out. She enjoys the trolly ride, the carrosel and looking at the Red River traffic. She is 3 but loves to shop already. We had a good lunch at Joe's Crab Shack.

This outdoor mall was lovely! Clean, great variety of shops and restaurants, live music, lots of security present, and the location right on the river made for great photo ops!

Nice shopping area within walking distance to Marriott property. Nice selections of restaurants and activities. There is an IMAX theater, as well as there is a small and free trolley to take. It's a nice romantic escape for a couple of hours.

You can find lots of bargains at the Boardwalk. They have several very nice shops. They have a beautiful fountain which is entertaining. I even like to visit the large Bass Pro shop.
