We have been to this zoo many times. We have always been pleased. The zoo is clean and well shaded. There is a great play ground for the kids and the train ride was fun. My two-year old loves going here. They have a lot of monkeys which is great. The only negatives that I see are the restrooms are... More

This zoo is very close to where I live and I take my daughter often. Its a small zoo but the quality of the animals and enclosures are amazing. Probably the closest you can get to some of these animals in the US. There is a very cute petting zoo and little train that is fun for the young ones.

This is a great zoo, considering that it receives NO public funding of any kind. It is run from basic sales, fundraisers, and donations. They do not always have the resources (money, time, manpower, etc.) to make a lot of renovations. As for all of you who are saying that the animals have no food... Many people have a severe... More

We bought a yearly pass so it's worth going for us. The exhibits are pretty small and I worry about some of the animals in small enclosures- especially the big cats. But the monkey exhibit is nice and they have some beautiful birds. There is a slide/playground area for kids and also a train and concession stand. People from out... More

This zoo is great for not being overcrowded and having a lot to see. Check the times for "Chat Times" with the animal caretakers. There is one lady that lets you ask LOTS of questions and she is very informative!!

Lots of animals in a small, natural environment. A fantastic way to spend a day with the family. Train rides, play area & nice snack area.

I left this zoo feeling very sorry for the animals. All seemed to be in need of food. The tigers looked sickly. One had a nice habitat but was in desperate need of upkeep, its water supply was horrible. The otters were playing with a penny. Many of the animals seemed to be pets that were cast offs. Especially the... More

nothing special, it didn't have many animals, mostly one animal of a species, It needs some serious upgrading. We weren't impressed. It is a very looking zoo.
