lot of bayou and salt water fishing. Great places to eat like Big Mike's, El Paso....

If you like to fish or partake in water sports, Terrebonne Parish has a lot to offer. Houma is the main hub for dining and entertainment, but there are more charming towns in the area to check-out. Thibodaux in Lafourche Parish is minutes away and houses Nicholls State University.

We drove from Galliano to Houma and the drive is scenic along the canals and waterways. Lots of oil supply boats to look at. Houma itself has some really interesting plantation style houses and a few nice restaurants. Cristiano's was amazing cuisine. The entire parish seems to dominated by the oil industry in some way or another but the canals... More

If you want to go to a place where the people are very friendly, the food is delicious, and you want to see an alligator or two, this is the place for you! Go at Easter and experience a Good Friday crawfish boil!!! You will still see Mardi Gras beads hanging from trees on the parade routes too. Wanna see... More
