there are so many stores to choose from, every store has something different than the one before. whatever your taste, there has to be one to satisfy your needs.
My husband and I visited Natchitoches to see the Christmas Lights and stay in a bed and breakfast. I hoped to find a few small Christmas gifts and decorations in the shops on Jefferson Street. We found so many wonderful and unique items in each shop we entered! I think we could have found something for everyone in the General... More
Quite a wide variety of stores can be found on the few blocks along Front Street. But, don't forget to look along the side streets for shopping as well. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of parking. We went at Christmas and the place was packed. We had to park 3 blocks away. Various restaurants are sprinkled... More
It was a beautiful fall day and we enjoyed walking down the street and visiting each shop. All of the salespeople were so friendly and helpful. The street was immaculate and decorated for fall.
Almost an art gallery in addition to having gift items, I almost missed this little gem. It was open late on a Monday afternoon which was how I found it. Not just for Christmas ornaments but lots of very nice replicas of Clementine Hunter art.
Quite a range of shops, but look up and around at the architecture to see what it looked like in yesteryear. It was all decorated with Fall and Hallowween things plus flowers, so very colourful.
My husband and I had a great time wandering down Front Street and some of the side streets. I loved the fall decorations that were out everywhere. We went into many of the shops and bought a few Christmas presents and some fudge. In each shop the workers were friendly and helpful. We went on a carriage ride and saw... More
This is the most quaint and fun shopping. Front St. has the most unique little shops, places to eat, an abundant amount of sitting areas all along the shops. I love being able to find a place to sit while the others go in and out of the shops and I can take a rest break. Natchitoches always decorates their... More
This was our first visit to Natchitoches. So happy we decided to go there. It was quiet, beautiful, and the food was great. We visited several restaurants and the waitresses were so nice they answered all of our questions about the area and gave us ideas of where to go and visit. We felt very welcomed and had a blast.... Really pretty, small town feel. well worth visiting on a Saturday. The toy store was great. The kids can play with most of the toys there in the store. Good food. Great shops. Just all together a fun experience, even if you don't buy anything.
