We had only one day to spend in New Iberia and spent 1/2 of it it at Konrico Rice Company. Konrico (Conrad) rice is a throw-back to an earlier age. The tour includes an introductory film that is simply wonderful. It explains the region and provides some much needed overview of the cajun folks history and culture.
