Love this museum. Manageable size in a beautiful new building. Filled with visual delights. Exhibits change regularly. Give it a try and you'll go back again and again.

Terrific museum in the heart of the Bowdoin College campus. Nice permanent collection, but even better visting exhibits, especially featuring Maine artists. We love to go there. Nice little shop downstairs, too.

Small and manageable; I especially liked Marclay's "Telephones," a brief video of movie clips focusing on ringing phones and snippets of conversations.

This little museum has a wonderful collection, and on this trip saw a collection of work by Lesley Vance. The permanent collection has many surprises, including a Matisse and a piece by Gerhard Richter.

Really enjoyed walking through this museum. Enjoyed looking at the ancient Egyptian area.

Sort of a strange collection when we were there but the building is really interesting and I know they have had some very special shows.

This well-curated museum has first-class permanent and temporary exhibits. What most impressed me was the Gilbert Stuart exhibit. I never appreciated his work until I saw the actual paintings. Fantastic.

Having been to shows and the permanent collection before and after the expansion of the Museum, I can say it is one of my favorites in Maine.
