We live not too far from this park and take our old hound dog for walks when we want to end up in a spot with a view--which this park has. The trails are easy. My husband mountain bikes there as well.

The hike is pretty easy, you should still wear appropriate footwear!! There is a steep climb that can get you to the top in 20-30 minutes, depending on your stamina. This is a nice park, with lots of space with good facilities and options for doing various activities. It is always wonderful to be above the trees in the great outdoors.... i just wish the view was more impressive.
Bradbury is a small state park. It has a path up to the top of the mountain. The view from there to the ocean on a clear day is beautiful. If you are going to Freeport, Bradbury is not far. You can take a picnic and enjoy the shade after you climb down.
There are many beautiful places to go for a walk in Maine, and Bradbury Mountain is lovely. The park is well-maintained and the view is pretty from the top. I would rate it higher, but my golden retriever wishes that friendly pets could climb the hill with their masters and not be hindered by a leash when under voice command....

Nice hiking near the coast, almost five miles of linked and loop trails.
several easy hikes in various directions. Mountain bikes are accepted here and seem to be challenged. Some trails are good for families and older folks, both bikes and hikes. Nice view at the top. Gets crowded weekends
Densely wooded with a variety of trails, some of which involve steep climbs

Dog- and bike-friendly, with small playground for the kiddos to burn off any leftover energy while moms & dads hand out on a picnic bench.
Between this place...

The hike up the mountain is not overly strenuous, and gives great views of the area.
