This is mostly a links course with water on a least a dozen holes. Beautiful views and an old-time golf feel. Former President Bush is a member, and often plays there with PGA Tour players and other celebrities, but you can still get a tee time as a member of the public. When traveling to Maine I have played at several very nice and challenging courses BUT this one is in a special class. The best advice I can give to anyone planning to play this course is make asure you rent or purchase a construction hardhat.
