Lake Minnehonk is much smaller than the better known lakes in the area: Echo Lake, Flying Pond, Great Pond and Parker Pond. This smaller size means that there are fewer motorboats and personal watercraft (a.k.a. jet skis). So Minnehonk is relatively peaceful, great for kayaking and home to nesting loons and great blue herons. The town beach in the village...
