I've never seen such big fish swimming alongside people in the ocean. They must have been 2-feet long. Absolute waste of a day. The place was dirty, people wore see-through wet T-shirts (not intentional, I mean the undershirt type), as bathing suit tops, and the whole area was a complete turn-off. Never again. more

We came to the area from the midwest and didn't know what to expect. We really enjoyed the beach. The sand was soft, the beach front is huge (about 4 miles wide) so you can get away from the crowds. We settled right next to the amusement park area, though we didn’t end up going. My kids (3y.o and 1y.o) had a lot of fun in the sand and water. There was an over growth of red algae, but otherwise, a great day at the beach. more
I have been going to OOB for 30 years now...the beach is beautiful! Soft sand, COLD water! :) What more do you want! more
