There is a huge hill for picnicking, a paved bike path for cycling, walking or running, and a small beach. It's scenic looking out into the water and at the cute gingerbread Victorians. If I only come back to Portland for one reason, it's this place.

Take the trail that starting at the gazebo which brings you down to the beach. Beautiful.

My kids LOVE playgrounds. Anywhere in the world all they want is to run and climb on playground equipment. What can be better than an ocean breeze, lughing kids and a great view. This is a wonderful break from the city city exploring.
