Doing a GREAT job with the expansion at Saddleback. Very respectful of the beautiful place that it is. New Quad in the expert area is sure to be a hit. Personally, I'll miss the T Bar. But this will yet again be another example of keeping lift lines down without flooding the slopes! Great to see individual owners respecting the... more

If, like me, you love skiing and have been lucky enough to ski at various North American mountains, you've probably noticed that many ski areas are starting resemble each other. The runs and verticals change but the experience of the lift lines, the base lodge, the commercialism, the prices are very similar. Saddleback breaks the mold. Every ski area's most... more

Saddleback Ski Area Rocks. This mountain has the quickest lift lines, the hardest expert trails and the cheapest tickets for a big mountain in New England. Get there before they close on April 20th. more

In Vermont and Mass. there's Killington, Stowe, Sugarbush, Okemo, Mt. Snow, Jay Peak, Attitash, Cannon, Bretton Woods, Loon and Stratton. Without question, the best overall experience is Saddleback. To give... more

That said, if there's a better place to learn to ski, I'd be amazed. The many green slopes vary from the super-easy to the almost intermediate, and the three plus mile circle trail, Hudson's Highway,... more

My family thoroughly enjoyed visiting and skiing at Saddelback Maine last week. We traveled to Rangeley for a mid-winter vacation with plans to do both downhill and cross country skiing, and to see a part of the USA we've never been to before. It was colder than we're used to in Tennessee, but it was great! We really enjoyed the... more

Being from midcoast Maine, I can pretty much take my pick as far as Maine ski resorts go. I have been to all of the major ones and a handful of the smaller ones. Saddleback is the best in my opinion. First of all there is the price. $39 for an adult all day weekend lift ticket. The 2 other... more
