The Project Puffin Visitor's Center (PPVC) is a cute little shop on Main Street in Rockland, ME. Your best bet for visiting is in the summer, however the center does have hours during the off -season as well. Please visit http://www.projectpuffin.org for store hours and details. 3 and 4 days before Thanksgiving we came to Rockland and tried to become familiar with the Puffin Visitor Center. Over the period of 2 days, we tried to get into it, but a note always said that "we will be back in a little while" without giving the day nor the time of day.
