Short trek across the water to the Wiggly Bridge and nice quiet walk through the woods. Won't take long, great for a morning jog.

We've been going to the Wiggly Bridge since our son was a newborn. We LOVE IT! Great little hike and scenery. Be sure to follow it to Harbor Beach and then onto the Cliff Walk. A very meaningful place for our family.

The weather cooperated, so the views at the cliffs, the beach, the wharf and over the Wiggly Bridge to the nature preserve were spectacular!

This is a lovely place to walk from the hotel - there is a path along the York River that leads you to the Wiggly Bridge and while you stand on the bridge, jump up and down until you find yourself bouncing along joyfully. It is a small suspension bridge built for just that pleasure. The walk through the woods... More

Visited this area toward dusk and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. It was freezing while we were there so we didn't linger, but it was a nice little side trip after a long day of shopping. The trails looked great for running, but don't expect to get too many miles in!

Great to see clamers and other walkers along a nice path...to a peaceful wooded island.

This is an easy stroll (1/4) from the Stage Neck Inn. You can see all kinds of water fowl. Very picturesque.

Very short hiking trail which goes through the woods and then ends up at a wiggly bridge. In the woods, someone made a huge fort out of branches that the kids could have stayed all day at.

If you want to spend a little time outdoors, and don't want to go to the beach, try the Wiggly Bridge and Stedman Woods hike. Especially wonderful for families with kids, this small pedestrian bridge, which bounces up and down, connects a causeway between the York River and the Mill Pond to a short loop of hiking trail on the...
